Yahoo! Supports Online Learning

With the rise of online degree programs and the steady increase of people who are into online learning, there is also growing numbers of web-based companies that expand their service in favor of virtual learning. One good example is the Yahoo! who is currently developing a free online service for educators to create, find and share lesson plans, worksheets and ideas.

The new service will be called Yahoo for Teachers that is expected to launch this coming autumn. This new service will enable teachers to collaborate on course work as well as store information and other online resources that they find online and want to showcase in class.

Now teachers all over the world can finally use Yahoo services as teaching aid and this will give opportunity for students to access their lessons and course materials anywhere they are. I am sure that this will make online learning easier and more affordable.
