Vote And Help Inform Others About The ABCs Of Evaluating Web Sites

This is not about taking online degree or online universities but I think, this is worth writing here because it aims to create trustworthy information in the World Wide Web which is very advantageous to all students whether they are online students or not.

It is about the Fact or Fiction Student Video Contest that is sponsored by the World Book, Inc. The contest entails the young students to create original videos on what makes an online site a good source of information to help all of us to be more informed consumers of online information.

The submission has ended and they are calling us to view these online videos and vote for the one which we think is the best in conveying the above-said objective. The lucky young student who will gather the most number of votes will receive a MacBook and their school a digital video camera.  First and second-place runner ups will receive video iPods. So let’s watch the videos and cast our votes. Voting is open until end of January, 2008.
