More Academes To Offer Online Courses

Come this September, more academes will be able to offer online courses as the Baraboo School Board voted unanimously to become a partner in the Wisconsin eSchool Network which is a new association of eight districts and still growing numbers of academes who share teachers and curriculum for online courses.

With this new development, students who are living in this district can now enroll this coming fall in one of around 75 online courses that will be offered through eSchool. And by 2008, students from other districts will likewise be able to enroll and take online schooling in Baraboo.

In this connection, one big employer from Baraboo district has already committed that they will refer their 18 to 21-year old employees to finish their degrees via the district’s online schooling program.
