Another college has joined the world of online education as Mid-Plains Community College has been recently approved to offer online degree program. The college is now approved by the Higher Learning Commission to offer an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business in online approach.
The approval notification that Mid-Plains Community College received even grant them to extend their accreditation to include distance delivery of degree programs without prior Commission approval. The College is now working in developing online curriculums for Associate of Arts Degree and Associate of Science Degree.
And to assure the quality of online courses in the Mid-Plains Community College, Charles Osteen, MPCC Area Distance Learning Coordinator said that their instructors are all required to take pedagogy classes for them to learn the practices and guidelines that will assist and train them in how to present their class online.
So now, students of Mid-Plains Community College have now another option on completing their degrees. With the approval of their college’s online courses, it is now even possible for them to study and work full-time at the same time.
