You may have heard of the term blended education or blended learning which describes education or learning that are a mixture of traditional setting and online setting. This is actually one of the forms of online learning that are being adapted by traditional schools because many are saying that this educational methodology is an innovative way to boost the learning curve of students because the best of two methods (traditional and online schooling) are combined.
This methodology gives both instructors and students more freedom than a traditional setting. And I personally believe that this type of learning is advantageous not only to the adult learners but also to the adolescents or the not-so mature learners.
Why? Because it gives the student a chance to explore his learning potential using the other media aside from the information they obtained in the physical classroom. This also allow the students to work independently and pace themselves to the subject matter accordingly.
